Hi...
Up to the age of 18, i was able to have lucid dreams at will. In fact, i would lie down in the middle of the day, and enter a dream with the intent to lucid dream. i knew then how to shut off my internal dialogue (before reading CC) and would focus on the images that appeared. I remember seeing an eagle often. The images would then become a scene, and then a lucid dream. i had several out of body experiences back then as well....now i am 37 and for the past 18 years, i have not been able to lucid dream. a few times i have been able to locate my hands while dreaming in the recent past.
i am not sure what is now blocking me....any ideas? The only thing i see as a factor is the fact that i met my ex-wife when i was 19 and had my daughter. This brings me to my second question....Don Juan stated that children cause the parent to have holes in the luminous body. Do children hinder a path to knowledge (or the ability to manipulate the AP due to the holes)? Does human sexual desire do the same?
My girl is ten and I am raising her myself, she does take much energy but I feel like she brings to me a greater connection to the spirit. The whole concept of love and children has baffled me in how it relates to the teachings of DJ.
