Your welcome Hawkeye and Crow. The other day I came face out to my barn to feed the horses. It had been raining and it was cold. I saw a black shadow across the ceiling. I looked and around the corner looking down at me was a bobcat.
It wasn't afraid and we were about five feet from each other.
I could see it judge me, access me, decide if I was friend or foe. I decided to go about my business and started grabbing some flakes to load in the wagon. It watched me then walked out of the barn still not afraid.
We share this world with men, animals, spirits, and the unseen.
