Yoganda? Not Yoganada, perhaps?
I have heard of many, with no experience with any.
For many reasons , the Beatles likely became a focus of Spirit, to those who could See, but all that is gone , now.
The Maharashi died this week.
I have never been drawn to that sort of teaching, or many others, really.
Too often disappointment with deceptions and hypocrites.
I have been drawn to Bob Dylan, who asked about 'what kind of price do I have to pay to get out of going thru all these things TWICE'. There's a bit of humor in that.
I think all established religion and their 'holy books'
Books are useful, but limited
I guess I have become a full-blown mystic, as I find nothing useful in the usual sources.
I have had to depend on my own limited resources most of my life.
Once, I met a fellow, near my own age, who was like a Nagual, a real leader, in that time.
The Indians lived in that way. Their leaders did not advertise. They arose in the perception of their peoples, and that is the difference from Western rational society.
Crazy Horse was one of these leaders. (To be honest, I have gotten to a place where I think of Western Culture, my very own heritage, as a load of ****. Ah, I listen to the subversives!)
On another subject, 25 years ago, I read everything I could find by author Herman Hesse. He wrote 'Sidhartha' , the story of Buddah. There is even a movie made of this particular book. Wish I had the film , and I may get back to Hesse , again.
Still, nothing prepared me for the manifestation of Spirit; maybeI have discounted , due to 'Flyers' , the abilities of energy within myself, thinking them to be limited.
Sometimes , I just KNOW without any reason for it. Yes?
Have you read Hesse?
