Yesterday morning...I watched a small coyote walking in desert across from my house. It went into some bushes and I watched the other side to see if it would
show in the next opening. It didn't and I continued with my chores. When I went out to the street to put the garbage container out for pickup ..I saw the
coyote get up and walked away with a backwards glance at me as if to say "thanks for making me move human". I saw that it was a female and I remember
thinking I wish I could make friends with one.
