Don Genaro was nagual being, the indians in Northern Mexico used the term Nahual for a sorcerer, for the dreaming worlds, for the spirit, for a spiritual leader, for the unknown etc. This Nahual/Nagual is a term used in many different ways by us here. Don Juan stated in one of the books that there are nagual beings on the earth in many forms from insects to trees, to animals and to men.
