I think history is made up of actions based on emotions, much more than they are based on thinking.
Emotions based on ingrained patterns, socalled 'kneejerk' responses.

Me personally throw out all the traditional knee jerk responses or simply put syntax and embrace another view of the world that is more in accordance of the real world that deals with the cosmos or universe by adapting a new syntax that explains the world in a more complete explanation than science or the Bible.
