Tree gazing

seesaw wrote:I spent the night of New Years Eve gazing at a tree. Its a small olive tree i bring into the kitchen every Xmas to share experiences and celebrate life with.
Anyway, on New Years Eve, i left my human stuff to one side and went to meet it. It was so wonderfully alive it even waved its little branches around. It is such a delight to see this. Then we spoke. We had quite a conversation, one full of affection. We exchanged all sorts of information.
One of the things the tree said to me was that i should try taking 'thyme', a small herb that was growing near where the tree normally lives outside in the garden.
It sent me the fragrance and a small snapshot of the effect this would have on the remains of a cold i have had for the last 10 days.
Today i made my own thyme tea and am amazed by the results. That little tree really knows its stuff!seesaw wrote:The initial stages of connection felt like being brushed by energetic fronds of the tree itself, their touch releasing emotions and sensations of joy/affection. These sensations continued for almost 45 minutes whilst i held the connection.

It was during this time that more intense level of communication occurred, entire sequences of feelings that contained information of a sort.

At one point i was even able to travel down through the branches towards the root. During this part of the communication i experienced a loss of awareness of my bodily self, in its place instead i was filled with frequencies and fragrances of an aromatic nature, images of leaves in a sensory format i am unused to experiencing as a human. My normal sense range of sight smell hearing and touch were almost remapped for this brief moment. It was for this short time, an experience outside myself.
Thank you for writing this beautiful experience for us here..
Thyme is a good herb for coughs and the tree seems to know its plant stuff hehe. very sweet of the tree to give such helpful advice .

ive also experienced this fronding (love the word). perhaps not in such an intensity. but it was so real the touch of the tree that i thought for quite a while in the darkness that there is an actual branch to the side of me that is touching me.. only to realize after i dont know how long that there was nothing there! uff . Trees are awesome!
your journey through the roots and senses sounds like an amazing experience
