I find it nice to remember that when we fracture our soul due to forcing our ability to "see" what it's not prepared to see, it is from a place of deep love. We gave enough of a sht to truly see and understand someone we weren't ready for. We shouldn't do it purposefully, but should it happen, know that it takes a great degree of love, awareness, and intent to achieve that sight. Sadly, the reward of that effort is earning a tortured yourself.
But it adds dimension and character...if it doesn't kill you. So I guess there's that.
