Dragonfly

So, I got to one of my homes. And I had internet and time to research a bit and read up on stuff. So I read Joseph's story. He was a dreamer and could interpret his and others' dreams. He received a multicolored cloak from his father and his brothers envied him for this and also because of what the dreams said. They did him harm and sold him into slavery telling their father that he was killed. Joseph later in the story interprets a few dreams, averts a catastrophe and is considered to be a seer by the Egyptian pharaoh. He married the daughter of a Pagan priest (of On, the greatest of seers. The city of On was known as the Heliopolis = The city of the Sun. It was the center of worship of the sun god Ra. It seems to me interesting because there seems to be a marriage of dream/night/moon prophet/seer and sun/light seer lineages - kinda like he grew to incorporate that other aspect of being a seer/prophet too). Joseph later reunites with his family and forgives them. I also found Tamar's story about how some think she was a priestess, healer and "mistress of dreams" and she was said to have a multicolored robe/cloak as well.

It seemed to me that the cloak links to dreams and dreaming.

I mean, even the musical is called "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"

I dare say I do not know that much about it at all, but this at least makes some sense to me .
And as far as my experience with dreams goes... Dreams have been showing me things my whole life (as far back that I can remember any dreams at least)...
