Power animals as I experienced them are a kind of guarding angels as well as they give power. There are probaly many way to meet them, for me it have been
through drum trance and dancing. In the second attention it possible to communicate with them. Each shaman have there own personal relationship, so there is
not much to be said about it, as you must relate directly to them yourself.
There is a distinction between spirithelpers and power animals. As the last is much more focused to ones life and the first help with
'missions'/subjects that one seeked power to do. FX healing, herbs, seeing, ect
