Quid pro quo i.e. I largely agree with what you've mentioned above, understanding of course that "points of reference" are everywhere all the time. Leave one set and adopt another.. But I get what you're getting at
"Sorcerers have only one point of reference: infinity." I love that line right there. It sums up so much of what's been shown to me in those shifted states of perception. It helps me embody the mood of "and yet....." which is so important in how I view the world...allowing for that which I don't see...even in other people I might presume as "warriors" or "not warriors" The deepest truth is beyond description, isn't it? Not just a gray area between black and white..."this and that". Instead, its an unfathomable array of colors in between...mixing, roaming, exchanging, interplaying perennially in a way that defies categorization.
Coyotes have learned to navigate that strange space between city and the wild....the edges which bleed into one another. I admire that quality, down deep They may not be the fiercest predator out there...the most impressive in those terms. Probably wouldn't do well one-on-one with a wolf, for instance. But they survive on the whole where most others don't. I find that most impressive, indeed!
