The sorcerers of ancient Mexico were quite ill at ease with the idea of when [the predator] made its appearance on Earth. They reasoned that man must have been a complete being at one point, with stupendous insights, feats of awareness that are mythological legends nowadays. And then, everything seems to disappear, and we have now a sedated man. What I'm saying is that what we have against us is not a simple predator. It is very smart, and organized. It follows a methodical system to render us useless. Man, the magical being that he is destined to be, is no longer magical. He's an average piece of meat.
You have to start with one premise in mind: that we have the potential to reach states that we cant even begin to imagine.
Having that in mind, it comes down to heading towards that way of being. And this statement is easier said than done, to say the least, but not impossible.
Consider the indigenous people. They grow up learning how to hunt, trap, plant, gather, fish and many other things and they start learning these things from a very young age. What is has abstract value for a warrior in this is that he or she learns to be independent and just, to sustain themselves having no one but infinity behind them, from as low as 3 or 4 years of age.
As city folk, we are given everything from day one. Food, shelter, comfort and an abundence of protection. Abstractly we start beginning to learn to fight for ourselves at the age of 14, even later in some cases.
Before anything, a true warrior should have no trouble swapping places at any time. Out there and in here. We need to be fluid in this world.
