The topic remains the purpose of life. I like "supposedly", because on this topic it is all theory, and any one theory is as good as another. What is being attempted, imo, is understanding...the great question, "Why am I here?" along with associated questions, like "Who am I?", what happens, if anything, after death, and so on, have been asked it seems for as long as there have been humans.
