Hi again everyone!
I hadn't heard of Manuel, so I have no opinion there. A good litmus test for any teacher, is what is their prime motivation?
Is it to make money, get power, or to serve other beings in their search for freedom, (or some other eternal quality).
If their motivation is any other than to serve and be selfless then, I would be wary, for at best they have fancy tricks to teach, their being, their karma,
would not be pure, causing ripple effects that cause a lot of suffering.
Lately my background has been of Tibetan Buddhism, and that is coin of the realm in my tradition.
Of course this may go without saying, but then I though it perhaps worthy of repetition. At any rate Lone Wolf's recommendation says a lot! Does anyone
have any links or book titles, etc?
