The trouble is that your previous post .. reminded me very much of a dear friend of mines mindset..
Simon his name is..
he had an incredible understanding of the mathematics in the spiralling form of a pine cone..
or a sea shell, or a holly leaf!
He was very much the mispent genius..
he would practice nature druidry.. and make electronic music..
and speak of.. and hear is the problemm..
he would pereptually speak of others as if they were either evil or stupid...
i would find him in clubs or pubs where people where drinking , drugtaking, dancing, or just seekign the usual..
where he would be seated on the floor.. in a cross legged position..
with fingers buddhisticly posed..
trying to bring love and ligth to everyone...
yet so determined was he to be the unseen yogic martyr..
and so well did he guard nature and the buddha posture..
that many unsuspecting "normal" people..
where put in contrast to his spirituality..
consequently..
they never did find the cross legged buddha position very inspiring...
as it was occupied wholly by a bitter minded tyrant!
It worries me when you say
"In my case, my personal war is beyond survival: It's about the Spirit. Others don't share that notion and that is fine."
because to me that stinks of people who take the best spiritual position they can find!
and then declare that no-one else can have that position...
and seemingly no matter how heartfelt they are.. they spend the best part of their lives sabotaging other peoples attempst at finding true centre..
because they want to be ALONE as well as in the best position of the assemblage..
personally.. IF you want to be a alone.. Be a warrior and go to a position that no man in his right mind would ever occupy... and find your WARRIOR peace there!
nice places are for nice people and should be made easy for all people to assemble
Warrior positions are for warriors.. and warriors are the only people who WANT to occupy the position of warrior..
you cannot have it both ways..
