For me personal power depends is Realizing who and what you really are and standing your ground on it. Anything you can do to better yourself and others. Deprogramming yourself from the hassle free zone AKA the Matrix... you know. The zone that requires a very specific set of self limiting behaviors. Step out of that zone and your fellow man will Police you. Hence the hassle free zone.
- When I conquered 8 months of devastating panic attacks, I gained personal power by overcoming them. At the same time I overcame fear of death.
- Someone with personal power pursues his/her goal of enlightenment, and any other goal in life, Not wasting attention and energy in other people who would put them down or discourage them from their goals. This includes self limiting ways of thinking.
- Someone with personal power is unable to feel sorry for themselves or take someone else's actions as personal.
- Someone with personal power is impeccable with their word. Not using the power of the word against themselves or others (still struggling with this one myself)
Also herba I like that you touched on sex. TBH I haven't had any in 3 years. I don't really feel bad about it. But your right. I do feel a lacking their. Love and companionship are essentials for my life. Sex IS a part of that for me. It has taken me time to realize that as a man: I should not or will not EVER feel ashamed about my desires as a man, and Also I make no excuses for it. The divine presence, spirit, or god Gave me the sexual drive in this life. It is not something I will ignore or feel ashamed of.
