How to get into an Energetic Lineage

I mean, people can do whatever they want with their lives, but helping them know the facts is the right thing to do.  Using animal totems as an example, let's say somebody was of the Wolf lineage, but they only had a Jaguar lineage available to them.  As long as they understood that this was the case, then if they wanted to put their chips in with the Jaguar lineage, well fine then.
