Yes and more than just good. It is I believe a life saver for some on this list.
When I discovered the Casteneda books (back in the mid-seventies) there were only four in print.
I put everytihing I had into those excersises for two years. My goal was to stop the world.
I moved away from my band and family and friends. I went to live in southern Illinois, hundreds of miles away.
All except one friend who was with me there. That friend had introduced me to the Castaneda books. We discussed the concepts quite often. But he was more of a philosopher and I was actually living it.
One day, weeks after I had stopped the world, and still struggling with this new "double reality" that I was living in, my friend changed also. I saw the flier in his face as I had in so many others.
He who had helped me through so many difficult thingss was no longer the same as I. He was another foriegner in this strange land.
It was like I was alone in the sea and had just lost my life-boat.
It was then that I began my "jouney to Ixtlan" to see if anyone was the same.
This is what this list is for some. A life-boat And you, Lone Wolf, are to be commended for it.
I would have given my right arm for someone to talk to during that trying time in my life.
But talking to anyone that I knew about the things that I was experiencing at that time could have meant ending up in a mental institution very possibly.Bright Flame
