Yes, that kind of "Silent Communication" in "Oneness" feels like *The Holy Spirit* had descended on you both.
About "power places" ......
I have indeed found such here in Australia, and not only in the desert country .... & each one of these places have had their own strong, unique vibration ....
In the days of the old .... people sought out these "power places"; - places that had special kind of energy to them, enabling these people to let go naturally .....& then gently shift their awareness into a new "dreaming position" i.e. "state of awareness" i.e. "assemblage point of awareness".
But because in Australia, all this kind of thing is still very much practiced with ceremonies and such ...... it opens up an additional opportunity to utilize these power places.
