Don Juan Explains "Freedom"

Yeah, I notice a shift when I am out in nature too Hawthorne though I live in a small midwestern town with no great wilderness nearby, we have a couple of
small wooded areas on the outskirts of town and many fine trees within town and a small lake within biking or a long walks distance. A stupid mindset dominates
this town though and most are trapped with their mowers, weed eaters, roundup, and civilized pretense. I admire those who have risked and/or sacrificed their
freedom like many earthfirst activists have for the Mother but I am uncertain as to how effective they can be in this world however I remind myself that there
is a lot going on in many ways right now towards renewal and balance, maybe all these complimentary ways will make a big difference in the future especially as
we careen towards the end of oil and the industriotechnological age. Then those that have practice and knowledge in the areas of wildcrafting, natural farming,
permaculture, alternative energy, natural healing, Spirit, homesteading and grandmas with heart will be largely sought out and in positions to share their
wisdom and ways. So many have no idea what we lost along the way.
