No, he is not being arogant.
He is speaking at a deeper level than we are used to thinking.
We do not have the entire picture! When we ask or intend for something from God, (or the Nagual or the "Great Spirit" or whatever you want to call the Great Unknown or Unknowable) we do so thinking that that particular request is what we need. We do so without all of the "facts", having only a part of the Whole Picture.
I disagree with Doctor Green on one point. The Spirit does have one intent, concerning this particular subject.
It is that all that wish to return to the Source Will return to the Source. But our free will is never infringed upon in the process.
But, back to Agreeing with Doctor Green. The Bible says; "...we know not what to pray for as we aught. But the Spirit maketh Intercession (prayer or Intent) for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered. (put into words)"
We do not know what we need, or the best way to get where we want to go. Though we may want to return to the Source of All, since we have never been there before, our intent or prayers can lead us off of the main path onto "rabbit trails".
