Yea Lil good idea about recipes. We got our dehydrator from walmart(I also nicknamed walmart hellmart ) for 30$.Raw foodist say living enzymes die when temps reach 118 degrees but I never move mine from 95-105. The juicer I use has two gears that grind and press the food so alot of juicers might be incapable of processing alot of sprouted wheatberries as they are hard and the dough they produce is extremely thick and sticky. Any juicer that can do nut butters etc. though I think can do it.
The dough is simply placed in the dehydrator in a thin layer for a few hours and makes a delicious and extremely vital raw sprouted bread(I soak the wheateberries 8 hours and let 'em sprout about that long before juicing). If you want flavor you can do things like add fresh garlic into the press and it mixs in to make a delicious raw garlic bread but I like my bread with avocado slices.
I have read the same about mushrooms toxicity although some of us raw foodist think organic mushrooms grown properly are extremely vital and unToXiK. I can personally report that raw inorganic portabellos make me sick and that organic portabellos are unaffordable!
Recipe of the day: Earlier I went to the asian market and bought 10 baby coconuts at only 69c each. Given the ammount of vital energy these fresh, raw babies provide it is a very good deal. I opened one and poored the juice in the blender and scooped out the jelly to put in too. I put a tea spoon of spirulina I get organically in the bulk supplies so it is cheap unlike the bottled stuff and added a honeydew melon slice. The resulted blended smoothie was very earthy and flavorful and green and full of life that my cells are now happily assimilating.
Peace to the clear way.
