Well, yes and no.
I've been in some debate for some time with other warriors about the mandate of The New Seers, to which all of us who can see belong..
On the one hand we have the charge that we push forward, more and more clearly defining the "lax" seeing of don Juan's party.
On the other hand, we have people's agenda's getting in the way of seeing, and we must be ever vigilant against that...
Over at the NDE site (which I put a bit of stock in the veracity thereof due to the large cross-section of humanity that report similar structures to the phenomenon), we see testimonys that indeed it is about love: loving others as well as oneself.
Don Juan always spoke of the immeasurable benefit he was getting from his apprenticing CC. The reason this was is because don Juan's foibles were impatience and a tendency towards violent outbursts himself, as well as being slow to learn. Dealing with CC mirrored these things in himself and allowed him to transcend these limitations...hopefully...eventually..
"Scouts" are people who, for whatever reason, have ventured into the unknown and caught a glimpse of it to bring back. NDEs are nothing but accidental scoutings into the beyond. Just because maybe not one of those people picked up a CC book or know of sorcery, doesn't mean we should discount their valuable input.
In fact, I would say it is an act of humbleness to include the possibility that non-warriors are capable of these excursions and their valuable accounts not ignored because they haven't gotten some approved label of identification with this or that ilk: sorcery included.
But yeah, to hear an idividual spout a new spin-off is a bit disconcerting. I think at the very least they should present references for the reasons they see a certain angle the way they do...not for themselves, because their seeing is their own business, but for other struggling warriors to consider. God knows the foreign influences can get in through any crack and fissure...
