Good quote Littlepaw and i agree with you the labeling process of reality is a sort of internal dialogue, but IMO it is not what Don Juan point to.
It relates to stopping the world, when all labels is removed and you just is.
Have you found a way/method to silence your inner dialogue?
Mastering of Attention and Shifting the AP
" I would have to say that the real gateway to power of the attention is simply to hunt it, observe it, intend to know about it, and give it whatever power you can while realizing always that you can shift your power to any position."
Serloco you also write:
"When I imagined a position of awareness where my conscious awareness was no longer translated into words I had set my intent to achieve it."
This is real good. It leaves me in wonder though. It seems so simple
How do you hunt attention?
Imagine a position of awareness... hmmmm okay I think I can handle that and also to make the shift happen. It is a very straight forward way is it not? Like I want to shift the TV to channel 6 and press the button on the remote.
How would you suggest that one picks up this practice?
Many questions ))))
