I don't totally understand what DJ told me about it, but he showed me that it was like the feathers on a peacock's tail, where the colorful orbs are the sorcerers and shafts of the feathers are the energy that would connect all these sorcerers into a sort of network. This phenomenon only happens when there are large numbers of sorcerers, it creates an energetic tension between them which acts to support them, a "tensegrity" if you will. Castaneda was attempting to create such a phenomenon, but he had too much Death Defier influence in him to pull it off properly. DJ told me that Carlos believed that he could be "good and evil at the same time." When I think of what could have been, it is very sad to ponder how it all turned out. In a way, I want the same thing that Castaneda wanted, to create a "mass of energy" of sorceric awareness, but I think it will take generations to pull it off, it won't be something to accomplish within the space of a few years like he tried to do. I'm not saying he couldn't have succeeded, it is just that the shortcut he was taking was a Death Defier method, not something that Don Juan advised.
