"perhaps the key is not just to isolate and destroy our own fear.
but could be to isolate a second fear we are still subject to.. and which all people in the habitual
assemblage position are subject to on a deeper level"
And how does one isolate that? If its beyond what's immediately discernible?
Here's my personal experience. I feel fear sometimes in various situations, and am learning to face it squarely, over time. And that seems to be the way, repetitively facing in the context of immediacy, our predicament as it crops up...i.e. deal with things when they are there to deal with. Although maybe its too much of a slo go for some..therefore the whole notion of recapitulation to go back to get at the root of things, though I've had limited success with that approach.
"Destroying fear"...that doesn't feel like the right words to me...but that's just me. Again, my personal experience could be described as "facing fear"...you just stare at it until it loses its grip and dissolves (and sometimes it doesn't). So, how to dig deeper than what's in front of you, apart from simply deepening awareness? Isn't the superficial fear you allude to simply an extension of that deeper stuff? Can't you just track it to its source when its there to track?
I don't know. In this, I agree...I don't know what your talking about, mate. That goes for the upside down pyramid metaphor too
