it all depends on the self-mastery/impeccability of each individual
soul
the Nagual(Spirit) can manifest through any culture/tradition/teaching
but may favor certain ones in the sense of the limitations of each
belief structure (some traditions can be more aligned with the designs
of Spirit than others so able to channel through a clearer connecting
link with Intent); so some traditions as a whole can have more 'personal
power' than other traditions ie. intensity of truthiness (due to being
in tune with the 'Will of Spirit' so to speak).
and the Nagual(Spirit) is beyond them all and not bound by tradition
dogma (see: Syncretism)
