I understand the aspect of respecting a developed being. Something to consider...Don Juan would welcome interaction/exchange with other sorcerers/warriors as much as we would him. He learns this way too. Always there is something new to discover/learn...no matter who you are, and if that were not the case, then life would get dull. And if he needed nothing from us, it would be hard for him not to become cynical about all the imbalance in people. If he needs other people, he thus has a reason to appreciate the levels of development each is going through while knowing power still works through such people upon him and thus his integrity is called into service. And we could say this not just about Don Juan, but any highly developed being.
