Nice thought, however, it was made clear in the book, regarding DJ's meeting of CC, that DJ did not welcome interaction. He refused to speak to the man that brought CC to him and barely tolerated CC at first. The books never suggested that DJ got anything from CC. The only reason he ever gave CC the time of day was due to his "seeing" CC as being like a nagual (rather than seeing CC wishing he were one).
