Don Juan's controlled folly...He said many things to cc and what he said was what Carlos needed to hear. Don Juan would adapt to Carlos, you see the progression as the books go along and his apprenticeship deepens. What I feel about Don Juan is he can be any way he wants to be, but chooses the Nagual path, in which case he listens to power and adapts.
