The difference in self-reflection between 'social' man and warrior like Don Juan is that the self-reflection of 'social' man shines from mind, thus warriors self-reflection shines from will. It is not possible to reduce it completely, just to maintain it differently in more fluid manner.
Adding to the topic theme, in my opinion unconditional love is the most powerful motivating force. With it great deeds could be walked through. Also, unconditional love is very dangerous feeling, especially if it is destroyed, then self pity is threatening and dark occupations are soaring in mind that feel unbend. Anyhow, only love matters... The true love, with controlled folly for bypassing the hormones in mind.
