Why would a warrior make it his business to change if he could not? And for that matter, why bother attempting to change, if we cannot?

A true warrior works towards improving himself knowing all the while that he cannot change. Whatever changes he may experience in life are in actuality a gift of the Spirit. The Spirit can choose to accept the offerings of our suffering to change and better ourselves and, if it chooses, will change us as a priceless...gift. So the change that comes to a determined warrior is impossible for it takes a miraculous power to change a true warrior for the better. He accepts his successes and failures as gifts of the Spirit and does his best to always be grateful for the gifts he receives. It is gratitude and integrity that are very pleasing offerings to the Spirit of Intent. Intent is indeed a Sentient Force and must be humbly respected in order to inspire it to enrich our lives with untold wonders!
I am simply reposting what saceteca writes because it is worthy of emphasis and a good reminder to me. Thanks S.
