Thing is, if you use sorceric means to move your AP to serve your lesser self you are no better than the average ambitious tonal that tries to get ahead in life by any means possible.
That's what got many sorcerers trapped in the realm of inorganic beings, besides making them dark, aberrant monsters that used their subtle influence to dominate others.
Going half-way is like saying "Okay, I'll compromise a bit, tap the Spirit and carry on with my conditioned-normal life."
That's not bad, but it isn't going all the way. That's what Don Juan would call "death-end street"
I hate to say it (for saying it would automatically include me) but if you are not only under the influence of the Spirit you are a slave of foreign forces and their conditionings. Make no mistake about it gentlemen.
What to do then? Beckon intent to free yourself from foibles and conditionings.
