“It’s tough to find something when you don’t know what you’re looking for.”
--Police Officer from the movie Plan 9 From Outer Space
(script written by Ed Wood)
I’m watching a documentary about Ed Wood. I have a thing about the very best. I don’t have time for the rest. Well, when it came to making low-budget, lousy, sci-fi movies Ed Wood was the very best…at being the worst. Ed Wood was the very best at being the lousiest, low-budget sci-fi movie maker that Hollywood ever…inspired. He’s the stuff of infamous Hollywood legend. A classic filmmaker who was only appreciated…after he was dead and no longer needed the fame and money.
