Yes. Just like don Juan appreciated and acknowledged the accomplishments of past Toltecs, I recognize and appreciate Carlos Castaneda's contributions. That being a messenger of an immense body of knowledge that might likely had been lost to us without his books.
I am ultimately reverent of his part in the play.
Yet I also see that he, like the past sorcerers, was aberrant in some of his ways. So I choose not to follow them simultaneous with my respect for his overall contribution.
