Maybe.
This reminds me of the Christian 'get right with God', and some New Age ideas of so-called personal responsibility.
I think that fate , and our personal Powers, can be less predictable.
If this were not so, humanity would be  more evolved than it is.
My thought , my power , is contradicted by opposing powers.
I can't always get what I want.
