Chapter on the Death Defiers-Carlos Castaneda
#9
Yes, I understand, and did not see your words as saying it is easy. There are two kinds of pain, mental anguish, and physical pain. Those who lose their form escape mental anguish, and that process takes time, and in my own experience has been very painful since infantcy. Possibly there is a form of mental discomfort after losing form too. As one is so different from other people and AP is unusual at first? And also one can lose their form so slowly, ...I prefer a defined moment, but I will take either, and perhaps slowly is less jolting so that's the payoff for that way. Yes hard work is highlighted. It may be a do or die thing at this point. Sooner or later, a decision has to be made on comitting to warrior path fulltime. But it was a positive encounter with Tenant, not like a pressure feeling. It's was just that look of determination, and that it is required, not optional.
