And honestly... don't you think that's you?
lol, thankfully I do not suffer from such self-inflated ideas (of me being the most spiritually advanced segment of anything)
I was not aware that Lenin talked about spiritual advancement... I'm not that much into politics/history... but gotta admit it sounds interesting (for a separate thread). Maybe you can raise our awareness on communist spiritual awareness - from my experience, it was not very advanced, that is, in actual reality. But the ideas behind it were probably a lot more enlightened.
As I learned recently (while looking into Shakespeare's sonnets), hip hip also links to spiritual enlightenment. Who knew? lol...
"The 'hip' comes from the Wolof (a Senegalese language) word 'hipi,' meaning 'to open one's eyes and see' as a term of enlightenment. The word 'hop' from the English signifying movement, thus 'hip hip' means intelligent movement. Hip hop contains 5 elements (as codified by its founding founders in New York City): Djing, MCing, break dancing, graffiti art and the fifth element - Knowlege." (Akala)
Ofc the representatives of hip-hop today mostly know diddly squat about these enlightenment roots/ideas and how it all began and what was the aim of it all. At least, I doubt there are many artists today who are popular and get their hands dirty with some enlightenment and knowledge in their hip-hop (otherwise I doubt I'd just want them to shut up whenever I hear them).
So yea, communism in its idea stage was also quite something else... and has a great side that sadly did not make it into full reality (there it reared quite a different type of head - yep, it's the power hungry people who are to blame).
