the genus ghost as found within us..

I just wanted to add this in here since you said ghost... right now I'm teaching art and I was told to teach the students to avoid ghost lines. When we begin a new art piece, we ought to sketch with light, short strokes with a pencil. This is so that if we need to erase to make adjustments we can avoid ghost lines. Ghost lines occur when we press too hard so that when we erase lines we've now changed the paper and the impression is visible.
What if ghost lines were applied to people and their spirit. If we could be a host to a lighter awareness, then our spirit can also avoid the dreaded ghost line (a spiritual scar). Yes, some scars give us character and make us look cool. However, it might be easier to avoid layering ourselves in ghost lines. Unless you're Jasper from the Twilight series who is a military general and makes thousands of scars a testament to his warriorship. I guess you gotta know how to wear it.
