. I remember that DJ said that dreams are like streams or tributaries that lead to the ocean, or the dark sea of awareness.
Sleep, as opposed to dreaming, may be that state in which we are utterly disengaged from the tonal to the extent that what is perceived there cannot be remembered b/c there is no lexicon for comparison. Ironically, being totally disengaged like this brings us into total engagement with the source of our existence/energy and is thus refreshing? Does that work? A good an explanation as any, maybe
