here is the definition: Intent is the Power one uses at will in the moment
Intent is not a thought, or an object, or a wish. Intent is what can
make a man succeed when his thoughts tell him that he is defeated. It
operates independent of any warrior's indulgence. Intent is what makes
him invulnerable. Intent is what sends a shaman through a wall, through
space, to Infinity.
intent is the power which lead you into the moment!
if that moment makes you need to EXERT or RESPOND to stimulus in a desire to force power way.. then you have failed to recognise your earlier intent.
there can be no desire to have intent!
the closest i can get to controlling intent.. is when at moment of utter lack of self control.. "falling" suffocating, crashing car etc.. is to LET MEST flow aligned in time at the moment.
over time the hours you have clocked up essentially severing yourself from the tonal.. will imbue your forward force with a degree of intent representative of the greater MEST matrix.
then you can appeal to universal intent to recognise your individual intent to move with intent and see if it wants you to continue doing so!
It is an utter waste of time to try to extert intent versus another person in battle..
intent is a universal thing and already flows about and around both of you in such an all inclusive fashion that even if you say intent very very very clearly it will still only be seen as will by the nagual quotient who observes the battle!
