I have a few intriguing experiences with this point. When I would do an exercise in nature bugs would bump on it, no kidding. Even some small branch fragment blown by the wind or something would hit it (gently, not like a blow). I noticed because it was taking place among those moments you notice especially when the whole attention that you can muster, is on receive. I just knew it was something important and helpful, because it happened many times. And yes it has a silencing effect though i didnt connect it with ID primarily, the immediate result of the spot being struck in these strange ways was to get my attention and, sigh i cant find the proper English word for this, like what a spring inside a pen does - the verb of that, or like a predatory cat gets into this vibrant attentive state, ready to react at a seconds notice, but ofc this has to be linked to silencing the inner dialogue, so that makes all sense together. I thought first that they are showing me the third eye, but it was not the right place for that, i thought the third eye should be more up (but i didnt go into interpreting that or looking up where google says the 3rd eye is, it was just a thought, i mean i dont really care what it is called, important thing is i know where it is and that it is important and that it has a certain effect on me). Also, when I touch that spot and put pressure on it slightly I get the strangest tingly vibrating feeling. I did not label it as ID stopper, but yea that happens too . When i press it a certain calmness spreads over me..
(For all i know it could be the third eye though , but when i go more upwards with the pressure to another spot i start feeling shifting - though i dont think i can explain what i mean by that - so i think that would be the third eye)
By observing I also noticed that when I put a finger against the root of one side of my nose, with just gentle pressure on the upper part which is connecting to the spot/pressuring the edge of that spot, it also works and it is easier and kinda normal to do in conversations etc. If you observe people closely some of them do that when 'thinking' or when they are trying to take a break from it like freshening up they rub the spot around it and it too, thus affecting the spot.
One more spot keeps being hit, maybe I will see an explanation on that one here in the forums someday too hehe . It is on the throat
qantum shaman, I would like it very much if you would share more info on body spots like this. Also the body can help us get free of certain thoughts or emotions, for example if we shake (like trying to get water off) stuff falls off of us. Knowing the body and using it as a tool is very helpful, if not crucial..
