Ah, The white noise!!
It is very familiar to me and my friends. Many a time staying up into the wee hours speaking of Spiritual things it was our constant companion. Like bacon
frying in the pan or leaves singing from the trees on a breezy day. It accompanies the Spirit. And like the Spirit, we are describing only a glimse again.
I followed that sound once in meditation and it grew to a roaring so loud that I thought it would tear my body apart and shatter my eardrums.
It is said that no man can see God and live. That may be because that man is no longer a man in the common sense of the word once he has experienced it.
