Can dream upright, with your eyes open
Call it dreaming awake. Done it more than once....and know others here have experienced it as well. Try gazing at a wall...soft gaze....and just sink deeper into silence. Watch for flickering blobs of colored light which appear...for me yellow and/or blue typically. For me, these amorphous blobs tend to evolve and then develop thin rippling lines which sometimes form scintillating mandala-like eddies...almost like fine rippling wavelets one sees if an insect lands in water and is still flickering its wings. Every now and then, dream scenes will become available within this context...depending on how deep I can release beyond this state. Takes deep silent detachment while maintaining sustained intensity of awareness. Rare state! But definitely possible
