Many years ago, when I first started doing lucid dreaming, and more importantly, going to the world of inorganic beings, I consulted with several local
healers about it. They all came to the same conclusion, that it was dangerous to hang out with inorganic beings. But, because it was just so darned easy to
travel to their world and they were just so friendly and helpful all the time, I decided to ignore the advice of people who are careful, and just go for it.
OK, I just wanna say that the healers were right and I was wrong for the record. No matter how slick a dreamer you might be, no matter how fast you can fly
out of this world and into another, it doesn't mean that you can't be tagged along the way. The inorganic beings told me that I was a
"Scout" almost immediately upon meeting them. They said I was a messenger, and they wanted me to be their messenger in particular. Eventually they
showed me that I was a double being as well, so I thought for sure that meant that I could become a nagual. But, they informed me that double scouts make
terrible naguals, that no existing nagual would ever be foolish enough to take me under their wing so to speak. So, I just settled for being a scout and
zipping around all of creation, trying to learn about every possible dream world and being out there. It took a toll of course, but I was so distracted that I
didnt notice until it was too late. I travelled to very bad places thinking I was immune to everything, but I wasn't. I guess I was trying to be the
Keith Richards of dreaming or something. Anyway, to make matters worse, I learned how to spy on people in dreaming, which I know sounds weird, but I had this
idea that I could sneak up on "masters" and watch them without being detected since I was a scout and that's sort of an ability of ours. The
trick is to travel within the boundry underneath where most people have their energy bodies or dreaming bodies, kind of a secret passage. Of course I got
caught a couple of times, its embarrassing to remember, I'll have to tell those tales if I ever get up the nerve. So, I was was on one of these dream
scouting trips on one occcassion, looking for a place where it might be possible to hide from the prying eyes, or at least ears, of other scouts, when I came
across none other than Mr. C. himself. Yep, I figured I had hit the motherlode on that one, I became totally obsessed with "the secret" place he
kept his energy body, and before I knew it I had gotten careless about covering my own ass. I've waited a long time, but just recently I started telling
people, one at a time, what I had observed Castaneda doing in dreaming, fearing that the secret might be lost with me. I'm not a nagual, but maybe there
is a nagual out there, maybe they can make use of the information. I can't do anyting substantial with it, I've tried. I kept an eye on Carlos'
energy body for years, and one thing is for sure, it never moved an inch the whole time. He had it parked in front of what initiallly looked like a huge, very
deep hole in the ground, like a tunnel entrance. Not only was he there, but Taisha, Florinda and Carol too. I figrued that they were there because it was
impossible for anyone to break into their dream from there or hear what they were talking about. The problem was, they never moved from that spot, so I became
suspicsious. I eventually came right up on them but they appeared to be in a trance, facing each other around the perimeter of the abyss. As I came up to the
edge, I bumped into something that had been invisible, it looked like a gigantic tree, about 20ft wide at the trunk, that occupied the hole in the ground. I
was like, omg, they are actually standing around a tree! So, I asked the inorganic beings what they were doing, and they said that they were channeling
energy, and the tree helped them. They said it was one of a handful of incredibly strong power spots that existed in the universe, so powerful that it was
actually sentient. They went on to say that human beings called it "the tree of life," and that it had been handed down to Castaneda through his
lineage of powerful sorcerers - of which he was the last. They showed me that if I looked at the tree from a different "angle" it appeared as a
giant ziggurat instead, but, mostly I see it as a tree. So, when Castaneda died, I saw his energy body depart from the tree and fly off, and the three witches
left as well. I tried to follow him but he went through a wall of fog and I lost track of his energy body. Then I went back to the tree and tried to make it
work, but nothing ever happened. Over a period of ten years, no matter what I tried or what other beings in dreaming helped me, nothing worked. Well, I'm
not a nagual so I don't know what I was expecting to happen, I guess it was pretty stupid actually. Just when I was ready to give up on the thing, some
inorangic beings of a type I rarely converse with, suddenly became very talkative. They asked me to activate the tree for them, since nobody else was using
it. They offered payment even. Needless to say, I had nothing better to do so I agreed. As soon as the thing kicked on, all of us became instantly aware
that my dreaming body was totally jacked up due to a critical lack of understanding I had about dreaming and energy. The inorganic beings are helping me as
best they can but I'm not too optimistic considering the damage. On a physical level my health is shot too, the inorganics say the physical problems are
caused by the energy body. So, here I am working for inorganic beings, babysitting a power spot, helping them transfer some energy through the tree, wondering
if ever a nagual like Carlos or his predecessors will ever return.
