PerSyd, do you think that maybe the Tree of Life is the inspiration for the Death Defier that Castaneda wrote about? It would be a clever way of putting
it, since the tree does defy death and is able to teach things. It's just a theory. To be honest, while I was in the scarab form, I was worried that it
might "stick" and I would end up having to dream as a beetle for the rest of my life.
Today, I nodded off for a bit after lunch, I saw myself at the tree again as the scarab. Suddenly, from the base of the tree, tens of thousands of miniature
versions of me, regular sized scarabs I guess, swarmed out in a huge wave away from the tree. In their wake, the ground turned from black to white, the world
of the tree changed as well, becoming smaller, even the dark sky became bright. The tree world shrunk down to the size of a tennis ball, and that ball was
attached to an energy body -- because the white ball that I was looking at was actually an assemblage point. The realization startled me awake. As I pulled a
cold energy-drink out of the fridge and headed back to work, I knew I had just found the way to get to all of the trees. I think that my itinerary for the
rest of the month is now full.
