"Well, you have to factor in that sorcery was taught to humans by inorganic beings, and all the energy required for sorcery comes from the inorganic
world. So, if you use sorcery to return to paradise, who's paradise are we talking about? Just a thought."
The Qabala is said to have been given to mankind via angels. Not organic beings.
The knowledge of astronomy, mathmatics, geometry, cosmetics and many others were said to be given to mankind by the offspring of the Sons of God who came into
the daughters of men in Genesis. The offspring were called the Nephilim and their fathers were also not organic beings.
I do not see sorcery as a means of a return to Paradise, just an opening of the doors and the first experiences I had with the "other side" and
stopping the world.
But the parallels between the methods of Don Juan and the Qabala (The mystical study of the Bible) are too numerous to mention.
Jesus said to the Pharisees about his disciples, "I say unto you, if these should hold their peace even the very rocks would cry out".
One of the Psalms states, "Be still and know that I am God."
Sounds to me like stopping the internal dialog and reaffirmations from the world around us. And it goes beyond this by stating that we can know God by the same
practice.
It all depends on how far we want to take it. A complete return or just a glimse of what lies beyond the veils of existence.
Even Don Juan was not satisfied with sorcery but strove to become a "man of knowledge" or "seer".
All energy and knowledge comes from the Spirit. Only certain schools of thought need to filter that energy through intermediaries from the lower astral planes,
or what you are calling inorganic beings. That term can be misleading. The only organic beings are those of the physical plane.
Nature spirits, angels, archangels, demons, archdemons and God Himself can all be referred to as inorganic.
A Mystic or a man of knowledge goes to the source and makes no use of intermediaries. That is what we should be striving for in my opinion.
