The dream is about at age 10 - 12 when you lost your innocence, by not listening to your father - the mind, and by feeling girls are cruel - your sister - your spirit, and by just being a physical type and siding with sick dogs, by identifying with them as you do to this day by identifying with a dead dog.
You lost your innocence from not lstening to your mind or heart.
The dream points it out to you to find and to try to recapitulate it back.

The dream was sent to you for the purpose of you healing yourself.
The purpose of the dream is to return to innocence, the Garden of Eden, and to head in that direction now.

I told you to change your name and get the 'Lonewolf' - the abandoned sick dog out of it a while ago. Acts like that could change things for the better.
But. . . you've built your whole life on dogs. . . what about that other name you have posted?
Practically I'd suggest a name that encmpasses the mind, heart, and body. . .
Or if you want to listen to your father, and have a mind, you could use the name he gave you. . . and regain some ground on innocence that way.
