Depends on how one defines "burning with the fire from within." I think it's one of those terms that has a somewhat double meaning - rather like "there" and "their", or "hear" and "here". I could say I say my double "burn with the fire from within" and I believe that would be a true statement. I would also say that fusion with the double would = the human self burning with the fire from within, so it's a "double" process... or perhaps there needs to be another term... I have also wondered if being a double-being makes any difference in the process - but I really don't think so in the big picture. I've done a LOT of writing on the subject of the double, most of it from my own direct experiences. Some of it is on my website (the back story of "how it all began" and "the crystal & the nagual") - but I'll be glad to share anything I can here. There's no place to start that would make "logical" sense, so just ask if there's anything specific.
Our Double is our direct connecting link with SPIRIT/INTENT... therefore to cultivate the relationship with the Double is essential
I feel I have some silent knowledge concerning this and want to bring out into words... talking about it here helps

What exactly is the DOUBLE?
My personal opinion/conclusion is that the double is the Self in eternity. My own double has told me that the human/mortal Self is the SOURCE - meaning that it's what WE do in the here and now that determines WHAT the double does, and in some cases may even determine what the double IS. When I say the double is the Self in eternity, what I mean is that the double - once projected beyond the physical body (more on that in a moment) becomes the "vessel" into which our consciousness/awareness is uploaded, not just at the moment of "death", but throughout our lives. What we need to Know, the double goes forth to discover - ergo... the notion of "past lives". Not really "past" at all, but movements/shifts of the double within the eternal now. Put another way: while we are here in the 21st century, our double may be living an entire life or series of lives in other times and places. My own double has said he has lived "a thousand lifetimes and some" - ALL of which are directly related to what the human/mortal self needs/wants to learn in order to facilitate his/her own personal evolution of consciousness. So, for example, my other says he was once "a little boy in Greece in the year 845". I have no particular ties to Greece that I'm aware of, but upon doing a bit of research into the shennanigans of Greece in that time period, I discovered that a lot of my own prejudices against "the church" may stem from what occurred there/then - so this "past life" is actually a tool to enable me to confront & examine my own beliefs: where did they come from, what can I learn from them, and - most important - WHY do they exist? Knowing these things helps me to uncover the layers of the answer to the first question: "Who are you?" And ultimately, that's really the ONLY question that matters, because THAT question contains the key to the door to the totality of oneself. Who we ARE actually IS the totality of ourselves.
You have to experience it for yourself. But I want to hear more insights and experiences and descriptions, we can go way deeper into this subject, and intuit it is a very crucial topic for advancement cause am feeling a certain soul excitement, its related to some inspirations I am receiving concerning dreaming possibilities...
That brings up an important aspect, in my opinion. The one place where the warrior actually CAN come face to face with his/her double is in Dreaming. So, yes, I share your excitement.
