Ravenna: On 10th September we will begin something special - not training, not practicum, but research. If you apply yourself to this research in a dedicated
fashion, you will be able to access a specific feature of dreaming. Our research will be based on the dreamhacker world view. That means, no devils or
demons. The Dreamhackers reject belief in such things. Instead they believe that in our consciousness there is a program 'installed' that concerns
belief in such things as the devil. (Dreamhackers call such harmful programs 'cockroaches in your head'). People carrying out Dreamhacker training,
or research, often have doubts and worries that 'Ravenna might not be right'. In reality these doubts are your doubts, so the true statement is
'I fear it'. This fear is a filter on the perception of my words - it is an obstacle or barrier. So accept that the cockroaches in your head are
exactly that - the cockroaches in your head. We will begin from fixation and identification some of this kind of filters. Then, with the help of hacker's
methods, we will hack one of the filters, and we'll make a so called 'exploit' and begin to manipulate the defensive program of consciousness for
ourselves. Don't be afraid, you won't go crazy from this. We'll just get to the root, 'retype' it a little and see what we've got.
Certainly, many participants would be confused if I were to present material in this manner. That's why I've decided to do our research in the form
of a quest. We will make a hacker's bestiary, a compendium of beasts of the dreaming world. Many of you have probably met creatures or beings that have
injected something into the roof of your mouth, behind your ear or into your left eyelid in a dream. You may have seen larva and insects on human bodies and
near electrical sockets and switches. You may have been pursued by evil spirits. Have any of these happened to you? Yes? Good! This is exactly what we need.
We will research these programs of consciousness and use them for hacking the basic systems of consciousness. You may want to know for what reason would we
do this. The reason is so we can have access to a great number of fine features. For widening dreamers channels of RAM. By this I mean that a person's
ability to recall their dreams will be increased. For wisdom, for knowledge, for understanding one's capabilities and much of oho-ho-like things! You may
wonder if there are any contraindications. If you have an 'ecstatic' or 'exalted' personality - someone who is excitable and likes to
exaggerate everything (in Russia there is a proverb 'He makes an elephant instead of a fly' - it's when a person exaggerates everything and
therefore lead themselves to folly) then you had better not try it. If you are feeling you don't need it then you surely don't need it. If you came
here only to try to corrupt this research later on, then think twice about it.

Ravenna: Guys, this will not be a practicum but will (more precisely) be research in which you can actively participate. It's ok if some of
you are beginners. You'll just pass the first gates much more quickly. I'll be helping all participants. I don't know how long the research
will last - maybe for as long as everyone wants it too. You may combine our research with other practices and trainings, be a user here or a guest,
accomplish or not accomplish tasks and experiments. Everything depends on you. I am granting you full freedom. There's just one thing though, in the
process of research I'll only be answering registered users - that would seem the only fair approach since they've proved their interest by
registering on the forum. To avoid wasting time for nothing, please try out the small demo (note: when this was posted there was still a few days before
10th September. However, this demo is still worth doing, it shows an important barrier in your consciousness). This means that I will ask you to do a
meditation on a certain subject and describe your results later on. You'll find information about this demo in a new topic (new thread).

Hi Ravenna, when will we be starting on the below? I have had such experiences that you mentioned. When will we start researching these
programs of consciousness? Or should we have already started along side the earth/basic element task?

I would like to participate in the research if its still possible. I realize i'm 5 days late... I was following a thread about
this on another forum but I had to go offline for a couple of days and when I came back it all had vanished. It involved some misunderstandings about
spamming and stuff.. but nevermind that. Found this finally ^^ I actually wanted to ask was this suitable for beginners too but that was already answered
by one of Ravenna's posts. Thats even the more reason I'd like to participate.

what things we're working on. Just ask if you're not sure. (Tasks we've focused on so far are the demo: burning books to detect barrier,
